That they will never answer questions about racism works since I never bring the subject up. Don't have to - I'm not trying to cure racism. Nor need I, to end disparate policing.

When you fire sergeants and lieutenants and captains and majors and deputies and chiefs for failing to police equally, do you care WHY they do or WHAT they do? It's not that hard to solve MY problem - disparate policing. It's up to them to solve their own - racist thinking.

Remember, you want a culture change in policing, you go after the culture MAKERS. Sergeants and lieutenants and captains and majors and deputies and chiefs MAKE THE CULTURE.

Sergeants and lieutenants and captains and majors and deputies and chiefs should be fired for MAKING A BAD CULTURE.

Fire enough in one department - and it's a lot easier to do than fire a cop - then the department's sergeants and lieutenants and captains and majors and deputies and chiefs STOP MAKING BAD CULTURES.

Fire enough nationwide, and the rest take it as the warning shot it is.

You want a culture change in policing, you go after the culture MAKERS. That's how the Justice Department changed the culture of voting, by the way.

Because THAT'S how culture change works.
