In law we are taught to start every analysis by questioning the premise: what is power? It would seem you, and many, have failed to do so for quite some time.
We, on the other hand, have never stopped. You are using a 1970 model on a 2020 world, my friend. Do you know the first, most frequently missed, and dispositive change: power stop being about population majority about ten years ago, and $ majority in just the last few.
If the world was one country, what would you think the new definition of power would be then?
Because that is what it is now. We — the powerless — figured out the answer to a question many have yet to even know enough to ask.
