I'm speechless.

Instead of assuming I understand you, may I begin by confirming my understanding of your piece?

Victims - as a term, not an identity - contribute to an end result of abusive conduct. That's their business, so to speak. It is fodder for them to learn and grow. It is the business of others to focus on the conduct and thinking of the abuser.

Do I understand you correctly?
