I know enough not to be silly about it, friend.
I'm just saying, honey - be fair. A five part series and I get "did you consider that cops are lazy?" Let's put it this way. The good news is that, if I did not, no one has to waste his or her time struggling with the next four pieces b/c I'd be hard to read AND an idiot.
And anyone is free to be an idiot. I am a “motivate change” not “drive/teach change” kind of person. So, be an idiot at your own peril - just know it comes with a pink slip.
Who forces that pink slip process? We do - the same way we put our weight behind firing the police, charging the police, and so on. We have to put that pressure on the department to show receipts - prove up supervision.
I suspect heavy resistance, but what about this doesn't already come with that? This whole series basically says channel our pressure against the RIGHT resistance if we want to see culture change.
Is that what you were asking? And if so, does that make sense?
