I like the way you approach this, process it, phrase it, then leave it open. Very nice. VERY nice, actually. Thank you.

I should asterisks my articles: most of us (those doing race work) are reacting to the distant/digital world, which is kind of like an elementary school crammed full of 5y/o "worst selves."

My REAL life doesn't present me with these sorts of hurdles. In truth, I rarely meet folks I want to throat punch. Read about them, but don't meet a whole bunch. Folks IRL strike me much in the way you do here - open, curious, thoughtful, fingers crossed. That's good b/c that's where the live exercises are, and where it has durable consequence. And I actually DO think all this angst is going to bear incredible crops 20y down the line.

Virtual world is CHO FULL of "race" Incels, if I can borrow that, but only if the Incel is in the comments telling you how cruel you are not to love him/her back, then OTHER Incels circle you and start chanting "reverse incel, reverse incel." That's why the writing is so skewed - we're largely talking to the "innernets." Never a dull moment.

(Thanks for reaching out to Todd, btw).

Be well,

Cat
