I appreciate your feedback. The issue is complex, as an understatement. I mentioned I am a professor. My most popular course is on the intersection of race and law. The whole semester is a trigger warning.

Given that, one thing I caution my students to do is read the article on the paper, not the one in their head.

Read it again — this time, looking for passages to support your argument of your characterization of my position: “all White people are bad.”

Pull them out, fight with them, and if that remains your take away, I’d be happy to process that as an exploration, instead of a debate.
