I appreciate that things like this matter to you. We all do a version of it, I suppose. My struggle is that our "version" triggers when we leave our homes, and does not end until after we return. It's too late for me - it's so automatic that I am beyond teasing it out of the mix. Not so for my kids. My end game is blocking threats to their authenticity. Maybe we'll get there, maybe we won't - but not for lack of trying.
