Here’s the thing: it’s not a death sentence. It is the only way we have processed race relations in the nation. We all know how we got here.

But now that we know we are here, we have a duty to change. No, it’s not pretty but what of our past-to-present is? It’s far uglier to everyone to maintain the façade.

Let’s just face it and get it behind us: there IS no secret evil White villain. There is just everyday Amy and Peter and Bradley.

Now, Amy, Peter and Bradley need to decide who — and what — they want to be. That small town in GA was FULL of Amy’s who gave themselves a pass for Not Wearing Hoods, as you say(I love the cap thing — my favorite Stephen King mode of signaling “a big meaning”).
