At a minimum, I cannot recall a single supervisor who is not a Chief who was disciplined, let alone fired, for failing to supervise thus placing the public at extreme risk. Looking here at LMPD specifically, that's not as hard a cause and effect as one would think. Can you? Maybe it's time to see just what the union CAN do with an argument that goes "no, x did not enforce rules 1 thru 100, did not conduct oversight as required by policy, did not assess performance for A - H, asserted performance compliance / promotion fitness with no documented basis or substantiated due diligence and in direct contradiction to unredressed events 80 - 90, but is that any reason to FIRE her?"
